Valentine candy
Valentine candy has been a gift giving tradition on Valentine’s
Day for many years. Boxes of chocolates have been given as gifts since
the 1800s. They are often given to spouses, children, and other family
members.
Though Valentine candy is usually chocolate, it also comes in other
flavors and forms. Candy conversation hearts, and other heart shaped
sweets are common Valentine’s Day treats. Often these treats are
made especially for Valentine’s Day and cannot be found any other
time of the year.
Valentine candy is often paired with other gifts or collectables. These
gifts can be different for each recipient. Some of the most common gifts
include: flowers, stuffed animals, and collectables.
